Opened in 1975, Carney’s is an LA institution located in a train car on the Sunset strip that every Angeleno should visit at least once.
You just have to sidestep the abundance of tourists whilst doing it.
The Red Baron hot dog was delicious, loved the combo of red cabbage, mustard and polish dog.
The Chili Cheese fries were decadent and one of the least healthy things I’ve ever placed in my mouth.
My favorite part of Carneys was that there was free parking. Free, non-valet parking on Sunset Blvd??? Yes folks, it does exist.
And there are actual parking spots available since tourists don’t seem to realize you actually DO need to rent a car in LA, as you can only stroll Hollywood Blvd so many times before you crack.
