Ok, here’s the deal. This place was not good. Of all the old timey, vintage restaurants to be found throughout Los Angeles, this place is dire need of being closed down.

My pictures might paint the place in too flattering of a light, FYI. “Oh, it doesn’t look so bad”

You can thank Photoshop and a decent camera.

I don’t recall too many specifics (I often try to block out bad meals) but I know the burger contained bits of hard-to-chew gristle and the meat in the French dip was also hard to process.

BIG pet peeve of mine.

Also, If you’re gonna serve crappy food, at least offer it a price that matches.

Dear Johns, thanks for your many years of serving LA’s hungry veterans and other elderly patrons (seemingly, the only people dining with us today). I won’t be returning but good luck with all your future endeavors.
