Stop #2 on today’s TACO CRAWL is located closer to home, in West Adams.
Taqueria Los Anaya is a cute, clean, sit down full on Mexican restaurant with air conditioning and everything.
We all loved this place! Highly recommended.
We started with the chips, salsa and guacamole. I don’t normally rave about Guac because it’s often a bit bland but this stuff had a nice limey tang to it, ORDER IT.
We all ordered tacos of some sort and I also ordered Carnitas Sope. Sopes are like little open face sandwiches made on fried masa rounds (like really thick tortillas) made with beans, meat and salsa.
The Pollo Mole and Shrimp tacos were the standouts. I also loved their refried beans and garlicky rice.
Seriously though, there wasn’t anything here that wasn’t delicious. You can’t go wrong. Unless you don’t come here, that would be very wrong.
