Tacos Por Favor has two locations, one in Santa Monica and the one I visited today, in a strip mall in West LA.

Authentic yet fast Mexican food with a pretty extensive menu.

The Fried Fish taco was muy tasty, I loved the batter. The Carne Asada taco was also very good, the meat was not too dry…

…Unlike the Carnitas on my sope. I don’t know why it’s so hard to keep carnitas from drying out, but apparently it is. So, maybe avoid getting that here. Unless you douse each bite with one of their very fine salsas.

This place is good for a quick, cheap lunch. Only if you work/live in the area. No need to travel since your neighborhood probably already has a place like this.
