Mr. C is an Italian hotel chain and today we dined in the Beverly Hills location’s restaurant, which bears the same name.

The website states they have an attentive staff with European sensibilities, which is code for “They have accents.”

The servers were friendly and brief in conversation (my favorite kind) but in keeping with the European way of eating, everything took a bit longer than your typical power lunch normally would.

The menu was filled with lots of Italian words I had never heard of before, but while I enjoyed everything I ate, I found it to be a bit uninspired.

My salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious but swimming in oil, which was a bit off-putting.

The chicken and baked pasta dishes were both nice but nothing mind blowing.

The Tiramisu comes in an enormous bowl, which prompted me to give it the nickname “Tiramisoup”. Very good.

We came for Dine LA week, so our 3 course lunch was only $25. The regular menu prices are a bit steep, so keep that in mind and make sure you come here when someone else pays for you.
