The menu looked so delicious online but I was just so let down by Alegria.

The fish tacos were pretty boring. No sauces, no cabbage, no crema. Just a few pieces of bland, unbreaded fish and some uninspired pico de gallo.

The burritas were cute but the carnitas were too salty for words. I’ll try to come up with some later.

The best dish that we tried was the Sincronizada. Like a quesadilla on steroids, this thing was packed with flavor. Highly recommended.

Oh, and the papaya smoothies were refreshing, too.

The dinner menu looked much better, to be honest. Just come for dinner so you don’t have to deal with the disappointment I did. You’ll be a better person for it, I promise.

Well, actually you won’t. Sorry.
