NYC WEEK!

I’m devoting this week’s blog posts to the greatest city in the world, of whatever the hell it’s commonly called.

This is where I might normally give my ruminations on this illustrious city, by I’m going to politely decline. It’s far too early in the morning to say anything remotely original and you’re just here to look at food pictures, anyway.

Here’s a few notes on today’s meal.

I don’t recall the name of anything I ate here. This meal occurred all the way back in October and I completely forgot to write the blog. Bad food blogger, bad!

It’s a bit stuffy inside. Old school NYC, perhaps, if that’s a thing? Our server was friendly but things were quite formal here. Very funeral home chic.

The food was NOT good.

Gramercy Tavern has been a NY institution for ages and it was difficult getting a decent reservation, so needless to say, I was shocked.

The food was pretentious, expensive, uninspired and quite bland.

Is salt too expensive to procure in New York? There certainly weren’t many vegetables to be found.

It made me think twice if the food in NYC was going to be any good?

(Stay tuned, I will be posting NYC meals every day this week! Let’s see if the food improves…)
