Pair of Twins and Dirty Fries

Pair of Twins and Dirty Fries

The original Twins Sliders location has existed on Sunset blvd as a cute little walkup for like, two seconds, before this larger sit down location popped up on Fairfax near Canters.

And, to be honest, I got no time for a walkup. Burgers are more complicated to eat standing up than, say, a hot dog.

When I found out about this more convenient situation, I hightailed it on foot (parking is scarce and I live nearby) and soon had my mouth knee-deep in mini burgers and cheesy fries.

The menu is really simple, two kinds of sliders: beef and fried chicken (and fries and shakes, of course).

While I absolutely loved both the burger with it’s caramelized onions and plentiful thousand island, the star of the show was the Spicy Chicken with Cajun sauce and pickles. It was perfect perfection!

Chicken was juicy, hot and expertly coated in a nicely spiced blanket of goodness. Not some pre-formed patty.

Definitely get one of each but make your very last bite be of the chicken. Trust me.

The Dirty Fries are also a must. Your protruding gut will hate you for it, but your tongue and brain and olfactory system will be singing your praises.

They offer a $20 over the top Milkshake with every candy bar you could think of including an entire twinky. If this isn’t the downfall of America, I don’t know what is. And I’m happy to go down with this sinking ship.
