Burgerim (Hebrew for “multiple burgers”) has 62 locations in Israel and the West Hollywood location we visited today is their first in North America.

I gotta say, they’re not doing a bad job either!

Specializing in Mediterranean infused sliders, Burgerim’s mini creations are expertly spiced, cooked and have a fun array of spreads and sauces (such as hummus, tahini, pesto and garlic aioli) to please the most picky palate.

When we arrived at about 1 pm on a Friday afternoon, the place was a ghost town. I felt bad for it, like an abandoned puppy. But soon, folks strolled in and I felt better now that the puppy was getting some attention.

The Merguez beef patty was very tasty, but the spice level is not subtle. Not spicy at all, just super flavorful. If you prefer a more subtle flavor, order the Kobe.

A set of 2 sliders will set you back about $7 bucks and that’s all you really need. Split the fries and onion rings with a friend. If you have any.
