I feel I have no right to review a legit sushi place.
No fun rolls. No sexy sauces, jalapenos or crispy onions.
Just fish.
Thanks to my dining companion, Taco Belly (Sorry TB, I prefer that nickname), I was able to have a great time whilst daring to try my first raw scallop (thanks also, Mr. Gallon of Sake).
The sushi chefs take their fish very seriously. In general, this is kind of a serious place. No loud music, no one dancing on the tables.
Just people quietly devouring tons of raw fish and then getting kicked out at 9 p.m. when the place closes and they start locking the metal gate outside.
“Eat yer fish and get the hell out!” Said no one.
But they probably thunk it!
