On our way to Napa! After a quick, obligatory stop at Garlic World (which I’m sure no tourist had ever been to before) we had a light lunch at the Domaine Carneros winery.

Domaine Carneros offers a fantastic view and fun sparkling wines to taste. With cheese, of course.

After lunch, we headed to Napa and eventually to dinner at Ad Hoc, a Thomas Keller restaurant.

Ad Hoc offers one menu a night. If you don’t like it, don’t eat here.

Mondays are the famous fried chicken night, but this was not Monday so after drying our tears, we dove into a tender and juicy rib eye, amazing oxtail risotto, crazy garden fresh veggies and a very unique take on an ice cream sandwich.

Is it wrong at my favorite part was the watercress and endive salad with peaches and cherries?? Delish.
