The perfect bite - Ggot Sal beef with jalapeno and kimchi

What I don’t know about Asian food could fill a very large book. I won’t pretend to be an expert.

I’m also (shockingly) not Asian so you’ll find dozens more informed food bloggers out there who are eating the more adventurous stuff and actually knowing how to pronounce it.

That ain’t me.

I come to Korean BBQ to sear cow flesh. Not at all interested in tossing a bladder on the barbey.

I know, I know. No fun!

Since when did we tire of normal cuts of meat? Since when did entrails become yummy?

If we’re not living in or come from a third world country, why are wiping out the surplus population of pig’s rectums and leaving none for the needy?

So rude.

Park’s BBQ is basically the best Korean BBQ in LA. Just Google it if you don’t believe me.

I am perfectly fine with following the crowd and being a sheep (‘s intestine) and liking this place as much as everyone else does.

That Ggot Sal (flower beef) is just bovine perfection! Order it, dummies! It’s $35 a serving but totally worth it.

Bring a non-vegetarian friend (this counts Alicia Silverstone out, sadly. But she’s not your friend anyway, so just relax) to split it with you.

The wonders one may discover in a strip mall...

Instead of oiling the grill with butter, they use FAT! Eat that, Alicia!

Prime Ggot Sal - Flower Cut - So delicious

The ggot sal beef is so good, it's best NOT to dilute the flavors with any sauces or by using any lettuce or rice paper wraps

Seasoned Bulgogi
