For Nancy’s birthday (of Sid and Nancy fame) we visited an old favorite spot of hers, Palms Thai.
Cheap, easy, tasty.
I’ve been here a million times and am rarely disappointed. You’re in and out in 10 minutes.
Palms often features a performing Thai Elvis, which is entertaining for about 2 minutes.
We were not so lucky tonight.
Grace Slick was about an hour late.
We tossed some ghetto leftover veggies and a cold egg roll on a plate and slid it on down to the latecomer.
We made sure we adequately punished her in our best passive agressive ways.
“Yeah, you just missed the Thai Elvis, he was SO good tonight!”
“Yeah, the food tends to be hotter when you eat it as it first comes out, so…”
I love it! Although, error..It’s not Pad See Ew..That is Pad Ka Mao..Which you gave me flack for ordering because you guys all wanted Pad See Ew! LOL
