I’ve learned…I’ve decided that turkey burgers at restaurants are just no big deal. You can blanket them in cheese and bacon, smother them in a complicated sauce, the bun can be dipped in butter. It always just turns out…ok.

When the bread guy and I arrived at a completely empty restaurant before our Dodger game a few nights ago, we wondered if that was a bad sign.

It turned out to be.

The Bread Guy said his fish and chips were awful. Bland and overly fried.

My meal wasn’t awful. It was just…ok.

But I’ve learned a valuable lesson folks. From now on, if I don’t feel like beef, I will order veggie burgers, those at least have some flavor. I will only eat Turkey Burgers when I make them myself. Phew, I’m so glad THAT’S settled!
